Appointments & Scheduling

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can call us at 623-267-6601 or book online using our secure scheduling portal.

Do you offer same-week or same-day appointments?

We try our best to accommodate urgent needs. Telehealth appointments are typically available sooner than in-person.

Can I switch providers if it’s not a good fit?

Absolutely. Your comfort and connection matter most. Just let our care team know, and we’ll help you find the right match.

Services & Conditions Treated

What types of services do you offer?

Therapy & counseling, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, Suboxone/MAT for addiction, child, teen, adult & senior care, and in-person and virtual sessions.

What conditions do you treat?

We support a wide range of needs, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma & PTSD, OCD, mood disorders, sleep disorders, substance use, and grief & life transitions.

Do you treat children and teens?

Yes. We have providers specifically trained in pediatric and adolescent mental health, including for ADHD, school-related stress, anxiety, and behavioral challenges.

Can I receive care for multiple concerns (like anxiety and ADHD)?

Yes. We specialize in dual-diagnosis and can create integrated treatment plans to support all aspects of your mental health.

Medication & Psychiatry

Do I have to take medication to receive care?

Not at all. Many clients come to us for therapy only. If medication is ever recommended, you’ll be fully informed and involved in the decision.

Can I do therapy and medication in the same clinic?

Yes. That’s what makes Calm Psych different. Our therapists and medical providers work together to give you fully integrated care.

What’s the process for starting Suboxone or MAT?

You’ll first meet with a provider to determine eligibility, safety, and readiness. If appropriate, we can begin treatment quickly — often within a few days.

Telehealth & Virtual Care

Is virtual care as effective as in-person?

For most patients — yes. Our team is trained in telehealth best practices and offers the same quality care virtually as in person.

What platform do you use for telehealth?

We use HIPAA-compliant video platforms that are secure, easy to access, and mobile-friendly.

Can I switch between in-person and virtual?

Yes. We offer flexible plans, so you can do what’s most comfortable and convenient for you.

Insurance & Payment

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! We accept most major insurance plans. Call us to verify coverage for your specific provider.

What if I don’t have insurance?

We offer competitive self-pay rates and flexible care packages to meet your needs.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, for self-pay clients and packages. Talk to our admin team about flexible options.

Getting Started

What happens at the first appointment?

Your provider will ask questions to understand your goals, history, and needs. It’s a conversation — not an interrogation.

How long are sessions?

Therapy sessions typically run 45–55 minutes. Medication appointments range from 30–60 minutes depending on the stage of care.

Can I bring a loved one to my appointment?

Yes, if it helps you feel more supported. Let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate.
